Frequently asked questions

What is Lion Lift?

Lion Lift is an iPhone app for tracking lifts, runs, swims and rides, made by one person as a hobby project. You can also connect an AI assistant (ChatGPT or Claude) through its MCP connector so it can review your history and propose or schedule workouts.

Which devices does it run on?

Lion Lift is built for iPhone and is not on the App Store yet. Add your email on the home page to hear about the launch. An Apple Watch companion app is in development.

How do I connect an AI assistant?

Add the Lion Lift connector in your assistant's connector or plugin settings and sign in with the Google account linked to your Lion Lift account. If you see a message that your Google account isn't linked yet, open Lion Lift, connect Google in your account details, and try again.

Which AI assistants are supported?

ChatGPT and Claude are tested and supported. Other MCP-capable assistants or open-source clients may work, but we haven't tested them and don't officially support them yet.

Will the assistant schedule workouts without asking me?

Lion Lift's assistant instructions tell it to show you the exact workout and ask for confirmation before scheduling anything. You should still read each plan before approving it.

Can the assistant delete my workouts?

No. The connector can read your history and schedule new workouts. It has no action to delete or edit completed workouts.

A scheduled workout looks stuck or wrong. What do I do?

Contact support with the workout name and date and we'll help you sort it out.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open the Profile tab and choose Delete Account. For what is removed and how long anything is kept, see the Privacy Policy.

Does Lion Lift give medical advice?

No. Workout suggestions are for general fitness and information only. Talk to a healthcare professional before changing your training, and stop if something hurts.
